What is E.C.O.Trace® Special?
E.C.O.Trace® Special is a trace mineral premix of glycine chelated zinc, manganese, iron and copper completed with iodine and organically bound selenium. It can be used on top of inorganic premixes as well as a full-quality trace mineral supply for poultry production. The key components are E.C.O.Trace® glycine chelates - A highly bioavailable trace mineral source, which is produced in a well standardized process, based on Biochem’s experience in organically bound trace minerals for more than 20 years.

Mode of action
The chemical structure in E.C.O.Trace® prevents negative interactions between the metal ions and other feed compounds in the digestive tract and therefore allows a higher absorption rate of zinc, manganese, iron and copper. The superior bioavailability of trace minerals from E.C.O.Trace® compared to inorganic sources has been proven in several scientific studies. This allows an improved and safe supply in high-performance animals and in situations of increased demand and physiological stress.
The addition of selenomethionine synthesized by Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the most available source of selenium, optimizes the supply with this important trace mineral. The outstanding quality of E.C.O.Trace® Special guarantees the maximum possible positive effect of a high-quality trace element supply on health, performance and carcass quality.
