Description

What is TechnoZyme Multi?

TechnoZyme Multi is a blend of individually proven amylase, protease, xylanase and phytase, especially developed to improve the nutritional values of complex poultry diets and cornsoy based compound feed.
Mode of action
The nutritional values of feed ingredients are determined by their digestibility and negatively affected by antinutritive factors. Arabinoxylans, phytate and trypsin inhibitors are typical compounds impeding the digestion. Xylanase is able to target the arabinoxylan fraction of the fiber in many raw materials, like grain, grain by-products and vegetable protein meals. This action improves digestion by opening cell wall structures and reduces variability in nutrition values of feed compounds. Phytase is used in order to break down phytate, a phosphorus source which is more or less indigestible for monogastric animals. Anti-nutritive factors like binding divalent cations will be reduced, the release of available phosphorus is increased and less calcium will be fixed and excreted with the phytate. In a low pH environment, phytate will form complexes with proteins and impede the protein digestion. This negative impact can also be avoided by a high dosage of phytase. The protease will support the protein digestion especially in soy based diets and the addition of amylase will increase corn starch digestibility. These extra enzyme activities maximize energy and protein digestion. TechnoZyme Multi provides the full range of enzyme solutions to maximize an efficient use of available feed materials.
