TECHNOMOS®

Category: Feed Grade

MORE THAN JUST A PREBIOTIC
1) Displacing of pathogens
2) Support of the beneficial gut flora
3) Stimulation on of the immune system

Description

What is TechnoMos®?
TechnoMos® is a special prebiotic extracted from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and consists of a high
content of Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS) and Beta- Glucans.
Mode of action
MOS are indigestible carbohydrates which have positive regulatory effects on the gut flora. Because of the specific affinity, MOS are able to agglutinate (bind) on receptors of the pathogens (E. coli and Salmonella). By this step a colonization of the gut wall is inhibited. The
complex (pathogen + MOS) will be excreted via feces. Simultaneously the desired gut flora (Bifidobacteria, Lactobacillus species) is supported by stimulation of their growth or activity in the intestinal tract. Further acting mechanisms include the stimulation of the unspecific immune system, which is particularly attributable to the Beta-Glucans. TechnoMos® with its pathogen binding and immune
stimulating effects can be used in all animal species.
Special advantages of TechnoMos®
TechnoMos® is very rich in MOS and Beta-Glucans. The initial material is special processed in order to achieve a safe product with a very high effectiveness. Because of the resulting very small particle size, TechnoMos® has a large surface to bind pathogens, and therefore a greater effectiveness (binding capacity). Regular quality controls confirm the high and stable quality of our product.

Effect on animal performance
The healthy and stable intestinal flora supports digestion, well-being, the immune system and ultimately the performance capability of the animal. Due to the pathogen agglutination the bacterial load can be reduced.
